My goal is not to produce a photographic reproduction of what I am painting but rather to translate the feeling I get from a subject.  It can be the expression in the eyes of an animal, the beauty of the swamps of Louisiana or just the joy of flowers in my own backyard.  I love this journey and hope it lasts a lifetime.
